Generally group discounts are not off the lowest fare (especially in LCC markets like SEA-OAK). At that price, you're probably best off just booking straight up on the website. The only issue is whether there is enough inventory at that price for your whole group.
Now that the Hold feature is back, you can hold as many tickets as you need to make sure before committing to anything.
