3544quebec, what about MEL->SYD->MEL

There are quite a few 747 services between the two as part of international flights (ala UAs, frequent domestic 3 Class 777 flights out of DEN especially).

Most prominent is QF3/4 which continues on to/from YVR. I could have sworn that was a 767 but it appears to have been upgraded up according to the website's schedules. QF6 and QF16 are also two other choices. But with 5, 1 and 1 services respectively a week, thats only a daily offering (rather than the every half hour of domestic operation) but adding that element to your planning process just adds to the fun!

There are also 747-SP and 747-238 runs between SYD and BNE. No FC but at least a 747 and a business seat in the nose.

I assume you try to take the International 767 runs between cities as much as possible in the same manner as the above?

BTW When did QF start putting a 747 on QF3/4?
