I wear my wedding band when I travel internationally (or to a beachy destination) and leave my engagement ring at home. It is insured but I find I'm more comfortable without it--I don't worry about losing it or having it stolen, and my hand is more comfy when lugging a suitcase or walking around all day. I always wear a watch, and generally wear earrings and a necklace at home and while traveling, but may only take one or two of each on a trip for simplicity.
