Because of my personal ties to Hawaii, I really can't imagine going to SYD without trying out HA's run from HNL. But I don't know how many days a week they do it, and so on. I do know it earns RDM, EQM and EQS in most fare classes, and (being biased) I'd much rather force an overnight (or several) in Hawaii than anywhere else. If I were coming from the mainland I'd have to do NW 809/808 to get there and back, of course!
