In all fairness, entropy, we needed to draw the line somewhere as to how "family" is defined. By making this distinction (as opposed to adding a bunch of "ifs" and "excepts"), our intent is to make the policy straightforward, avoid clubroom overcrowding and still offer a good value for your annual membership fee. In your case, where you had one additional guest in tow, we do still offer the option of a full-day pass for $45. I know, it's not as good as free. But it's still not a bad value considering it's good for all Presidents Club locations throughout the day.
