I've been looking at the Motorola SLVR series, specifically the L7e/i. No carriers in the US are selling it, but it is available from some online. Probably has more features than I need, but I want a small, quad band that is not a flip.

Has anyone purchased from online retailers? The ones I have seen are a bit sketchy on warranty, saying that the manufacturer may not warranty something in the US that they did not sell through an authorized retailer such as Cingular or T-Mobile.

Know any stores in the Detroit area (northern suburbs) that sell them?

Is Europe an option for a decent price? I'll be in Germany and Romania within the next month, transiting airports including AMS, MUC, NUE, FRA, BUD and TSR.
