i was intially rather surprised at ur statement that flights to hkg are comparable in price with flights to szx most of the time. however, factor in the additional transport and i suppose the difference starts to look rather small for someone who’s come from the other side of the world.
having read the opening post again, op wants to go to hk, not just the airport, and it’s also his first time in china, so i must agree with ur conclusion that he’d be better off flying to hkg.
