Last year I was flying ADL-AKL week on week off for six months all the while they were talking about QF and NZ codesharing. The justifcation they were using was that QF were sending the equivalent of 10 empty 737s across the ditch each week. My experience suggested that must literally have been true, because the actual pax were crammed on full ones almost every time.
