I am a Canadian taxpayer who has paid my $87 fee to renew my passport. Based on an indicated mailing date of March 26 2007 and given that today is April 2, I am fully entitled to call and inquire about the status of my application.
You have it all wrong. I am not so much frustrated over the lack of agents or infrastructure. Not being able to queue up after about twenty phone calls is not acceptable.
