And of course, there are other ways to get from SZX to Hong Kong. One can take a taxi to the Huanggang border, and then on the Hong Kong side take one of the 24-hour buses to various parts of HK.
Or arrange a private car or 7-seater minivan with both China and Hong Kong license plates to go through the border without getting off the car. If you have 4 people or more, it's actually not that expensive.
