From SZX, one can take a ferry from the Fuyong port to Kowloon; or take a "direct bus"; or take the airport bus to LoWu, cross the border and take the KCR train to the city.

Many ways to do it.
Careful: The airportbus is only running to Luo Hu in the evening. Before that it will stop at Hua Lian Da Xia ( 华联大夏 ) and one needs to take the Subway from Ke Xue Guan ( 科学馆 ) station to Luo Hu ( 罗湖 ). It is the cheapest way though: 20 RMB Airportbus, 3 RMB Subway, 34.80 HK$ KCR to TST east. Total less than 60 HK$. It takes time though (Bus 45 mins, Subway 10-15 mins (depending on the waiting time), KCR 40 mins plus border crossing).

The ferry price is quite steep (I think around 170) but it takes only 1 hour.
