I was pricing out a trip to HKG yesterday and it was returning a YYZ-YVR-HKG-YVR-YYZ which I found acceptable. The problem was it had me in "E" for the YYZ-YVR v/v and "A" for YVR-HKG v/v. On to my question... For domestic flights E does not generate status miles, BUT, for international "OTHER" destinations E is 100% status. Which would apply in this case? Because I asked for a quote YYZ-HKG and it offered the conx would the 100% status apply? or would I end up with 50% non-status to YVR and then 100% status for the HKG flight?

Thanks
E class on YYZ/YVR would get you 50% non status miles and A on YVR/HKG would get you 100% status miles.
