You should be able to check your bags through, no problem. As far as thru check-in, even when they can, you can't trust it. You still should present yourself to an AF agent even if you have AS-issued AF boarding passes. Invariably, almost every time I've interlined with an int'l carrier (whether AS or UA), the int'l carrier has "typed away," then torn up the OA-issued BPs and printed new ones. Have your luggage claim checks available for the AF agent. Enjoy your trip!
