The OP seems to be going to Hong Kong itself, not just trying to catch a plane out.

From SZX, one can take a ferry from the Fuyong port to Kowloon; or take a "direct bus"; or take the airport bus to LoWu, cross the border and take the KCR train to the city.

Many ways to do it.
