The SF Marriott has a bar on the top floor that has a beautiful view. Sometimes hard to get a seat. Don't know if it is a place to meet people tho. Seems like people are seated at tables with their families/friends. Worth experiencing tho. My son recently stayed at the JW and said the bar was moderately busy on a wkend. Good luck! (If you are under 35, I would suggest checking out the W Hotel in SF--big meat market/fashion show on weekends!)
