If it is any consolation, it's hard for us QF'ers to get seats in QF too. Our main advantage is getting access to the seats earlier but it is still a challenge.

QF run a tight ship when it comes to yield management which is why the airline is so profitable. That's likely to get even worse should the private equity group grab control of the company over the next few weeks/months.
