I disagree. You could definitely make an entire vacation out of Portugal. Further afield from Lisbon, Porto is worth an overnight trip. The only part of Spain I would combine with Portugal would be Galicia (which is definitely worth seeing) because of the linguistic and cultural ties with Portugal.
