Breakfast ($7.95 Continental / $11.95 American) is a bit less extensive than at most other HGIs - one juice, which tasted like slightly watered down orange, a bowl of mixed (unripe) melon, white pineapple chunks and grapes passing for a fruit offering, etc. AS the short order cook was not in evidence, we gave our eggs order to the server (but the cook got it wrong - we asked for one omelet, ham only, to share - and when asked if we wanted veges or cheese, said "no;" omelet appeared with gobs of Monterey jack.) No waffles or pancakes are offered as far as I could see. Last time here, the short order cook did put on an appearance, but he was irascible and aloof, occasionally not there at all and excellent at ignoring customers.
