Glad so many people read my first sentence and chose fresh fruit, beginning with the very first post. This isn't OMNI where it is required that you immediately do or say the opposite of what the OP suggests.

I love fresh fruit too and it is one of the great things about the tropics and Hawaii, but it is not unique to Kauai. I was looking for taste treats that people actually make on the island.
