Advice for a not-so-frequent flyer
Hi,
I'm kind of new to all this frequent flyer club thing, so I'd appreciate a little help. I'm flying Shannon - London - Bangkok - Singapore - Darwin - Cairns - Sydney - Tokyo - London - Shannon over the summer, on a combination of Aer Lingus (SNN - LHR), British Airways (SNN - LHR - BKK and NRT - LHR), Jetstar (SIN - and Qantas (all deep discount fares). I've signed up to the qantas frequent flyer site to get points for these segments, but it's unlikely that I'll be flying Qantas again within the next year, so they'll probably go to waste. I was looking into maybe buying a Qantas Club pass to use this year, but it seems a little expensive - and would I even be able to use it in the non-Australian airports when not flying on a Qantas ticket?
So, basically I'm looking for some advice on any kind of way I can make my flights a little more comfortable.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
