I think on International flights the priority tags are used to separate the WBC checked luggage from the MC luggage. There is priority in offloading on all international flights. This means you should get your bags before MC luggage.

On domestic, everything gets mixed into the same cargo hold, and there doesn't seem to be any advantage to having the tags.
