Hi All:

I'm booked on a Z biz fare leaving this week from ZRH-FRA on LX (first SWISS flight!) and then transferring to LH FRA-LAX. I have several questions:

1. Is it possible for me to check in for both flights at ZRH? I have a standby-basis upgrade certificate (UA SWU for use on LH) that I want to use for the FRA-LAX flight, but I'm assuming I'll need to deal with this at FRA with an LH agent there as opposed to dealing with an LX agent at ZRH.

2. If I can't check in for both flights at ZRH, I assume I'll at least be able to check my bag all the way through to LAX, or will I need to claim the bag at FRA and re-check it?

3. I assume I'll have access to the LX or the LH lounge at ZRH, correct? I am *G on a Z fare.

4. Is it possible to check in the night before in person to save a bit of time? My flight out of Zurich leaves at 7AM - the more I can sleep in, the better. I assume they treat the ZRH-FRA flight as international, so I'd need to arrive 2-3 hours prior?
