I had a pair of nail clippers confiscated at FRA about a year ago, whilst in transit. Apparently what offended them was the nail file part of the clippers, which was considered too sharp. Whilst in the US I bought a replacement pair and broke of the offending bit. Since then no problem.
Why can't you buy nail clippers without the file, which I never use anyway?
