I have never gotten an LH BP from a UA TA at IAD, and I have certainly asked.
It seems that most of us end up in the last row most of the time. As with everyone else, this isn't so bad particularly when the unload from both front and back.
What finally really irked me this time was packing us in 6 across with other rows left completely open. As the LH TA asked us what seats we preferred I assume that she knew exactly what she was doing and was enjoying punishing us.
