But it addresses an entirely different UA/LH problem - the OP's woes originate from the fact that UA does no intra-Europe seat assignments in coach until the flight is open for check in! And then a random seat priority rodeo starts which is entirely incomprehensible. As an LH SEN I land in last rows of the birdie with great accuracy, in the middle as 1K. I am not sure if LH considers the tail of the plane as superior location over the centre?
