Where was the LAX golf cart lady a few years ago (post 9/11) when I was sitting in the boarding area of an empty gate and some guy walked through the secure door to the jetway (or outside... don't remember) leaving the door open, which after a minute or so caused the alarm to go off. No one in any type of uniform took notice and after 10 minutes I looked up the airport police on my laptop and called them to have the darn thing turned off.
