I haven't run the numbers exactly but my experience is at least equal to this, if not worse.
Most common on my int'l. flights seems to be audio dropout on the videos. Usually tape-related, not due to faulty jacking on the armrest.
If there's any consolation, it's that the movies are usually so excreable that it doesn't make any difference.
