yes-get up close as quickly as possible and sit right back down and buckle up-then when it is safe (ring the call button if after 18,000 feet when the f/a's can get up and about or wait for the seat belt sign to come off and approach the f/a [n.b she may come visit you anyway ]) tho i don't know if "lectured" is a good choice of words -
