I apologize but I can't respond to an inquiry like this without pointing out that I think it's ridiculous to base upgrading on being provided a crappy airline meal. That said, a snack typically is a small, hot meal of some sort that may on occasion be edible. Pizza and chicken tenders still are in the rotation. Many of us saw buritos earlier in the month, but I personally haven't seen them in a while.
To each his own, but it is not about the meal. It is a matter of principal. I think that there should be food in F, and I won't contribute ANY money (not even the $90) for stickers on a flight that fails to meet my minimum standards for F service. I also will not upgrade or pay for F on flights within the EU even if I get a banquet. This is becasue I also think that better seats are critical also.
