What is a "snack" in domestic F?

A while back, a snack was some light fare. I recently flew MCO-LGA and got nothing but some garbage "premium snack mix."

I was thinking of upgradeing a night DFW-FLL (departing 8:35pm) and a FLL-LGA flight. Both are listed as sa snack. Can I expect anything? I refuse to upgrade shorter flights that take 3 stickers without food unless it is an overnight like SEA-DFW.
