To the confused and frightened employees who somehow think the change had anything to do with access to their personal information, it simply doesn't. Access to any such personal info always has required a logon.
I don't get it - Alaskas World is an employee site. For years, you've all been able to look at it, but it was never meant as a site for the traveling public. That Alaska has decided to make it a password protected site, for whatever reason, really shouldn't be of any concern to our customers. Is it not appropriate for a company to have a site for the exclusive purpose of communicating with it's employees? Why does the general public have a right to look at this site as well? I'm confused as to what the big deal is.
