ATL South Gate Complex

Please do not move this to the Delta SkyMiles forum, as this thread doesn't strictly refer to Delta, but ATL in general.

In 2010, the new Holbrook Jackson, Jr. International Terminal (East International Terminal) and Concourse F are scheduled to open. However, ATL also has a South Gate Complex (not to be confused with Delta's "South Terminal") planned. It is currently in the proposed stages. I don't know when it will be built or if it will be built. With the new fifth runway, there is now greater room for expansion. This new terminal is supposed to have about 70 new gates, and will be built south of the main terminal. This could allow AirTran to consolidate most of their operations there. At the same time, it would also free up gates at Concourse C for Delta Connection, allowing Delta Connection carriers to consolidate their services in one concourse (Concourse C). What are the chances of it being built? Also, what would the new terminal and concourse be named? I personally think this new terminal should be named the Candler Terminal, and the included concourse should be known as Concourse G. What are your thoughts on this?
