Actually, I would like to thank again the majority of poster who have had constructive advice to share. As for the three of you who have nothing to add but doubting my story or intelligence... please move on.

The reason I posted here is it is not easy finding an good attorney who specializes in these cases... and since it is hard to put a dollar value on the intangible losses in my case, I thought if anyone had been through something similar they could provide a baseline for me to use in determining what is reasonable to expect.
