I hate online boarding passes and try my hardest not to use them. But of course for a gate upgrade its the best course of action. Do you loose the 24 hr ahead check-in time stamp in the upgrade queue if you reprint them at a kiosk or the counter?
From my experience it does not appear that you do. I've had upgrades clear many times after I've printed the BP.
