Just flew the A330 from DTW to AMS on 10-24 in coach and had numerous problems with the entertainment system. My wife and I had to have our screens reset three times by the flight attendants during the flight-they just froze up. Also, twice during the flight it seemed like the whole system became overloaded. The screen and audio would skip on all the screen, at least all the ones I could see around me, for about 5 minutes and then go back to normal. I also agree with the above poster that the screens are very difficult to see if the person in front of you reclines. You have to slump way down to get a clear view. It did work most of the flight though, and it is a very impressive system. A significant step up from the past. Just still some bugs to work out.
