On a semi-recent CO flight on a 767-400, the "personal" IFE was out in the BusinessFirst section. I had upgraded the two-segment one-way with miles. I asked for 25% of the upgrade miles back (one half of one segment), which CO gave to me. That seemed equitable. If it was a one-leg flight, I would have asked for 50%.

We also got an apology on-board. Other people may have a different definition of "fair," but this was mine.
