The reception experience seems to be a common thread - it certainly happened to us on our last stay. The issue isn't the room being unavailable it's the lack of updating and alternative ideas. Our receptionist wouldn't accept that the weekend cert was always used on the second day but continued to insist that she could decide on the cheaper day. She also couldn't accept that Sunday night was a weekend night.

The breakfast was also interesting in that I asked for a full english breakfast with everything and specified the options eg pork sausy, fried eggs - but then was just offered the options and not the whole breakfast! They started again.

Having said that - I'm sure that once things smooth out it'll be a great IC.
