Good to hear this positive feedback on AP. I have considered using them for a weekend jaunt and will definitely do so now. One very good thing about them is that they do not follow the standard BA pattern of gouging you for an eye and a leg if you want to book a ticket at relatively short notice. I have seen them offer flights LCY-FCO return for <£200 departing the next day as (I assume) the loads were still light! This is an admirable demand management policy similar to VLM. ^
We flew AP LIN-PMO-LIN and they were pretty good. Seemed to be a one-class flight but that may have been because it was a domestic flight...service was ok for the short trip, we were on time and bags all arrived. We paid €400 for 2 adults and an infant...would definitely choose them over AZ for another trip. ^
