You must click through to another page to search city pairs, then find the appropriate flight number via flight times, then go back to the "check flight status" page with the correct flight number. It's way too cumbersome, and I hope we're not headed down that path...
I completely agree! US and AC have the same setup where you have to search the timetable first if you don't know the flight number. I really hope UA doesn't follow suit...
