I know some people who rarely fly AS, but still credit the bulk of their miles to the AS Mileage program. As a recent thread discussed...it's probably the best in the industry.

If the idea of 20K mile r/t (that have good availability), an award where you can exchange 15K miles for 50% off any ticket (with a discount up to $250) or one-way awards that cost 50% of round trips sound appealing to you...you might consider giving Alaska a try.

We have our struggles, and they are well publicized here on Flyertalk, but we are a solvent airline, with great people, who try hard to do the right thing.
