Qualified for Silver March 4th and recieved the card yesterday (March 27th)
Enclosed with the card was a lovely "personalized" letter from some Vice President weloming me to the world of silver. The letter begins by explaining the benefits of silver:
"As a Silver tier member, you'll enjoy:
-Worldwide Lounge Access - you and one guest can enjoy access to the comforts and facilities of over 250 lounges worldwide, including British Airways FIRST Lounges....."

Before you Gold boys go into cardiac arrest, I have a feeling this an error with BA's mail merge program rather than a change in silver tier benefits. Incidentally, all other benefits described appear to be correct.
I'll let you know the response I get when I present the letter to the lounge dragon at LGW next month
