Not quite the same but I had miles post to BA when it actually stated my AA number on the BA BP.

I was able to get the EC to remove the miles from my EC account and send me a letter stating that they did so. I then faxed the BP and letter to AA who credited my AA account.

Why am I not surprised that the only 2 times my miles posted to the wrong account were 2 BA flights
