As reported a few weeks ago this was my exact situation. So it does seem very accurate for all times I have used it on
UNITED .. never tried other carriers.
Saw 3 x NC for SFO-SYD, grabbed exit row 15s upstairs (Yipppee!!!) and then refreshed and there was just 1 showing.
Phone agent told me same thing a minute earlier "you got 2 of the last 3 upgrade seats Sir" etc
