I have to ask some impertinent questions. Like how old are you? Married - kids? Are you straight/gay? Nightlife person - or not? Stuff like that.

Where will your work be in Atlanta? The traffic is awful. How important are short commuting times? Will your work outside Atlanta require car travel - or airport access? Will you mostly be going north - south - east - or west (if by car).

I don't live in Atlanta - but I go there fairly often. And am familiar with a lot of neighborhoods. I suspect other people here know 10x more than I do. There are places that are good fits for a married guy with 3 kids and a dog who likes to be in bed by 10 - but they won't work for a single guy who wants to go to the hottest clubs 3 times a week.
