From everything I read internationaly was no different then domestic as long as both the orginal carrier and the receiving carrier where both US based airlines. ie I could do CO -> NW, but not CO -> KLM.

Either way it sounds like the WBC service won't surpass what I will get in BF. I think I'll just stick with the CO flight for this reason.
