I currently have a paid Z class (BF) e-ticket on CO to AMS from MSP this coming month. As with most Z class tickets it's a 7day min/50 day adv/non-chg ticket.
If I went to the gate agent in AMS and asked to be moved to the flight straight into DTW (in order to avoid RJs I booked to go AMS-CO-EWR-NW-DTW-NW-MSP), would they take me, and if they did would it be in WBC or coach even though it's a BF paid ticket?
I'd enjoy trying the new WBC, and thought this might be one way of doing it.

I *HIGHLY* doubt they would take you. I've been on a Z fare in Amsterdam, and they gave me the "no change - you must contact NW" line.
KL in AMS has little to no clue on NW policy.
