We were very satisfied with the hotel. We got a room on the ninth floor with a nice view (facing north). We didn't find noise to be a problem and the location was indeed great. The staff was also remarkably helpful. If/when back in Christchurch, I'd stay there again. The only improvement I would like is wireless internet access, as I'm used to surfing the web in bed and the ethernet cable wasn't long enough
