A few years ago I shopped for term life insurance and my travel to Asia, specifically Bali, was a big underwriting issue. I had to state, in writing, that I would not be traveling to Indonesia. The policy was issued, I haven't been back to Bali but have been to other Asian countries since then. I assume they could deny the claim if I got run over by a Kijang in Ubud...
