Hey all,

Just wanted to post a follow-up to this post.

When I leave my house, Seat Counter still showed the IND->LAX leg to have wide open availability. However, by the time I made it to IND, United had offloaded lots of passengers onto the flight that I wanted to grab standby on, and the flight was completely full.

I ended up taking my original flight, and was sitting in 2D.

After heading out to the runway we were told that we'd have to wait a few minutes before we could take off. After a long while we taxied back up to near the gate and waited some more. Finally, they took us back to the gate, and opened the door. 1 lady decided that she was going to get off the flight and reroute or some such.

In total, we were on the plane for a little over 2 hours before we finally took off.

Since I had a 4 hour layover, I made my connection no problem.

Currently, sitting in LAS waiting for my return flight home, and have been bumped up to the front for both legs. I hope to sleep like a baby.
