Transtar have decent buses doing the overnight Penang run from SIN (not their first class ones, but still reasonable space). I've taken Sri Maju before on the trip and they were good too, the seats reclined into semi-beds, and weren't too expensive either. Saves a night of accommodation expenses as well, so it's win/win!
